MESPA's annual Leadership Conference is the best way for MESPA leaders to kick off a new year! This conference brings together MESPA's committee members, division presidents & presidents-elect, as well as MESPA state officers and staff. Together, this incredible group of leaders will plan and discuss the best ways to support MESPA members throughout the year. The Leadership Conference is a great opportunity to strategize, network, and also have some fun!

Our 2020 Conference will be virtual and take place on September 28. All MESPA leaders are expected to attend this great conference!

Board Meeting Details

The MESPA Board of Directors consists of MESPA's Executive Committee, Division Presidents and Presidents-Elect, and Committee Chairs. Typically, this meeting is held at the end of the Leadership Conference. To be sensitive to your schedules, we have moved the meeting.

Conference Schedule

We've condensed most of Leadership from a two-day conference to just one half day to be sensitive to your needs this fall! All events will be held virtually via Zoom.

I. Monday, September 28: Leadership Conference (All MESPA Leaders)

  • 9-10am - Keynote presentation (to be announced soon!)
  • 10:15-10:45am - MESPA Leadership Welcome + Info for MESPA Leaders
  • 10:45-11am - Legal + Legislative Lowdown with Roger Aronson
  • 11-11:15am - Closing
  • 11:30am-12:30pm - Committee Meetings

II. Between Sep 28 and Oct 9: Your Division's Planning Meeting (All MESPA Leaders)

This 1-hour meeting, to be scheduled by your Division President and President-Elect, will be used to set your division's meetings for the year, and to discuss any other goals from MESPA Leadership. All MESPA Leaders are asked to attend their division's Planning Meeting. Info about these meetings will come later this summer.

III. Friday, October 9: Board of Directors Meeting (MESPA Board only) - 12:00-2:00pm

Calling all Division Presidents:
