Speaker: Jim Sonju on Zebra Fish
We will have the 2011 Science and Math Principal of the Year, Jim Sonju speak to us. Mr. James Sonju is Principal of Lincoln K-8 Choice School in Rochester that serves 420 students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Mr. Sonju has been integral in helping form the InSciEdOut Collaboration. Integrated Science Education Outreach (InSciEd Out) is a collaboration formed between Mayo Clinic, Winona State University, and Rochester Public Schools (MN) with the shared vision of achieving excellence in science education in public schools. Mr. Sonju and a team from InSciEdOut have recently returned from a trip to Ghana, Africa, where they were working with an International School in forming a partnership.
