State Legislative Panel Q & A
The meeting will include a panel of state legislators who will update us on current legislative initiatives that will impact school principals. An invitation has also been sent to our Commissioner of Education, Brenda Cassellius, Ed. D.

Please join us for this valuable conversation with local lawmakers.
As of Nov. 14, five legislators have been confirmed for the panel.

Michelle Benson - 49 - MN Senate
Jim Abeler - 48B - MN House (needs to leave by 3PM)
Dan Solomon - A key education staff member from Senator Franken.
Darlynn Benjamin – District Director for Keith Ellison

Our conversation will include Teacher/Principal Evaluation, the status of MN’s Waiver Request for NLCB, and the new Behavior Rule/Restrictive Procedures.
