 | Meadowbrook Elementary receives grant to promote health
July 30, 2010 -- Hopkins Public Schools' Meadowbrook Elementary in Golden Valley (Greta Evans-Becker, principal) was one of 20 Minnesota community-based organizations awarded a $10,000 grant for programs designed to provide youth with the tools they need to live healthy, balanced and active lifestyles.
The General Mills Champions for Healthy Kids initiative, in partnership with the American Dietetic Association, and the newly expanded President's Council on Physical Fitness, Sports and Nutrition presented the grants.
