Kathleen Nadeau Receives 2008 Energy Award
Schools for Energy Efficiency® (SEE) is a national award-winning program for K-12 schools to reduce energy use and costs by changing behavior throughout the district. This proven program has helped MN schools avoid $14 million in utility expenses and reduce their energy use by 12% on average so far. SEE provides districts with a multi-year systemized plan, educational awareness materials, training, and utility tracking for immediate and sustainable savings. Schools that received the Label rank in the top 25% most efficient school buildings in the nation. In 2008, this honor was awarded to Kathleen Nadeau, Eagle Point Elementary, North St. Paul/Maplewood/Oakdale Schools.
