The Food Allergy Support Group of Minnesota (FASGMN) understands the unique challenges that schools (and parents) face as they strive to meet the needs of an increasing number of food-allergic students. In an effort to support those ventures, FASGMN has created a Speakers Bureau.
This bureau consists of FASGMN members who have been specially trained on the delivery of prepared presentations aimed at specific school audiences:
- School Administrators
- School Nurses
- Teachers- Elementary
- Teachers- Secondary (middle school, junior high, high school)
Presentations are approximately 45 minutes long.
Requesting a Speaker
- Speakers can be requested by downloading and completing the Speaker Request Form.
- Complete one form per speaking date, and attach it to an e-mail to wendy@foodallergysupportmn.org.
- Please send requests at least 3 weeks before the date needed.
- Note: A request does not guarantee a reservation. Reservations are dependent
upon speaker availability. Currently, speakers are only available to
travel to locations in the Twin Cities and surrounding suburbs.
Cost
The fee for Speakers Bureau engagements is $75; however, no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
