Good “Monday” Morning to all Principals!

We had a smaller than normal turnout for the 2012 Winter Institute, held last week in Bloomington.  We do want to thank all those who were able to make it.

It was a great time for those who attended.  There were great speakers, meaningful breakout sessions, and time to connect with other folks who know what it is like to be an elementary principal.  If you’re like me, you may sometimes feel like an island to yourself.  Just know that you are surrounded by colleagues in this division who are facing the same challenges that you are each day.  Keep up the great work that you do each day for kids!

Attached is a flyer for Steven Geis and his candidacy for NAESP Zone 7 Director.  Steven currently serves as our NAESP State Representative.  I got to know Steven while serving on the MESPA Board of Directors.  He is a champion for kids, a great communicator, and a strong leader in education.  He’s a great guy and would represent the state of Minnesota very well as Director of Zone 7.

Please vote for Steven Geis later this spring.

For more information, please visit the  MESPA Press Room

As soon as we secure our speaker for the spring North Suburban meeting, I will email the date and time to all members.

Have a great week!
