 | 2008 Division Leadership Achievement Award, Anne Moyano
Anne Moyano was nominated for the Western MESPA Division Leadership
Achievement Award by her peers. In making the nomination, Crystal
Thorson, principal of Viking Elementary School in Pelican Rapids, MN,
said, “Anne is a truly exemplary leader on many fronts; her staff,
parents, and students know her as a woman of reflective integrity, and
her peers value her example as a fellow principal. As Western division
president in 2004-05, Anne brought increased rigor into the meetings,
with quality programming and professional development for principals in
