Laura-Pierce_4
Laura Pierce, MN School of Excellence chair

The Minnesota School of Excellence Program
promotes excellence through a rigorous evaluation process that showcases dynamic schools of the 21st century.

Grounded in national standards, the Minnesota School of Excellence program leads schools toward excellence. This committee oversees the program, facilitates program revisions, serves as a resource to schools completing the MN SOE self-study and application process, reviews applications, guides schools through additional work required for validation, and advises endorsed schools on their celebration process. If you have any questions about the Minnesota School of Excellence program, contact this committee.
