Elementary and Middle Level Principal of the Year Application

The winner receives a plaque for school display and $400 worth of school programming from the Science Museum.
The
award is presented on Thursday, February 2, 2012, at the banquet and
awards program held during the MESPA Institute (annual statewide
convention).
The due date for applications has been extended to Saturday, December 10, 2011.
Alternating between specialty and general education schools.
The award is offered in alternate years to specialty and general education elementary and middle level school principals.
In odd years, the award is offered to general education schools.
In even years, including the 2011-2012 school year, the award is offered to specialty schools (environmental, math, or science specialty/magnet schools).
