Roger Aronson, MESPA Legal and Legislative Counsel
Roger J. Aronson, MESPA legal and legislative counsel, has practiced in the area of school law since 1981. He co-chairs the Minnesota State Bar Association’s School Law Conference, is on the executive committee of the education lobbyists group BELL, and frequently speaks and lectures on school law topics. In addition to representing MESPA members, he is special Projects Counsel for the Minnesota State High School League and represents the Minneapolis Principal’s Forum, the St. Paul Principal Association, and the Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals.

Aronson is a member of the Minnesota Council on School Attorneys, as well as the National Council on School Attorneys. He is a graduate of St. John’s University and the University of Minnesota School of Law. In 2001, he was selected by Law and Politics magazine as one of Minnesota’s top lobbyists and in 2002 was selected as a Minnesota Super Lawyer.



Mission: The Minnesota Elementary School Principals' Association is dedicated to promoting and improving education for children and youth, strengthening the role as educational leader for elementary and middle level principals, and collaborating with partners in education to assist in achieving these goals.
