MESPA Vision
MESPA will be the premiere resource for preparing today's principals for tomorrow and a strong leading voice for public education.

Retired Principals
The Associate membership category includes working retired principals. This category is for a licensed, nonpracticing administrator or post-secondary educator, or a retired principal who is currently working in education but outside of an active principalship.

The Retired category includes any retired principal who was an Active member at the time of retirement and who is no longer working in education.

MESPA encourages any retired principal who is in an interim role as principal or is filling in for a principal on leave, to join the association as an Active category member for the legal benefits.

Mission: The Minnesota Elementary School Principals' Association is dedicated to promoting and improving education for children and youth, strengthening the role as educational leader for elementary and middle level principals, and collaborating with partners in education to assist in achieving these goals.
