How to Apply

To apply for the MN National Distinguished Principal honor follow the two steps below.

Step 1:  Nomination due January 2, 2013.  A nomination form must be submitted for all NDP applicants by January 2, 2013. To download the brief Nomination form, which can then be mailed or faxed to the MESPA office scroll to the document at the bottom of the page. (Note: There are two versions, Word and PDF. The documents are exactly the same; use whichever format works best for you.) NDP applicants cannot self-nominate; they must be nominated by someone else.

Step 2:  Application due January 28, 2013.  To download an NDP Application Packet, scroll to the Application Packet at the bottom of the page. (Note: There are two versions, Word and PDF. The documents are exactly the same; use whichever format works best for you.)

The application packet must be completed and received in the MESPA office by January 28, 2013. Please mail completed applications, four letters of recommendation, 3-5 minute introductory video (This video will be used in place of a school site visit -- to introduce the applicant to the selection committee; it will not be ranked as part of the selection process.), and professional photos to:
