2011 MESPA Elections: two officers from South Suburban
In statewide balloting that closed Friday, March 4, 2011 MESPA members elected two statewide officers.

Matt Dorschner, principal of Chanhassen Elementary School in the Eastern Carver County school district, was elected president-elect. He will assume this responsibility on July 1, 2011, and serve a two-year term. His term will be followed by a term of two more years as MESPA president.

Tim Bell, principal of Five Hawks Elementary in the Prior Lake-Savage school district, was re-elected secretary/treasurer. He will begin a new two-year term on July 1, 2011.

The other two candidates for office were:  for president-elect, Joey Page, principal of Richfield S.T.E.M. School in the Richfield school district; and for secretary/treasurer, Becky Gerdes, principal of Bamber Valley Elementary in the Rochester school district.
