Dear Principals,
Last fall I joined MESPA as a way to benefit your organization and my company, Zaner-Bloser. It has truly been a worthwhile and educational experience, thanks to you and your organization. As a former educator, the Legislative News and Professional Development information kept me abreast of important issues, research, and trends in education. I am grateful to all of you who have taken the time to meet or talk with me about the needs of your students and teachers, and discuss how Zaner-Bloser products will support those needs. We are a comprehensive Reading and Language Arts Company, K-8.
I am hearing from principals, teachers, and curriculum directors that Handwriting is a growing need. This is national trend. There is a body of research (Marilyn Adams, Donald Graves, et al.) which connects handwriting to literacy and writing success.
