PACER Resources
PACER has been disseminating free information since 2002 about how to respond to bullying and build awareness of this important issue. While PACER's bullying prevention resources address the issues that affect children with disabilities, they are also designed to educate, engage and empower all students - those that are targeted, those that bully, and the bystanders to bullying.

PACER's resources are:
  1. Parents and Educators - Handouts, curricula, books, and other media which is located at www.pacer.org/publications/bullying
  2. Elementary school students, parents and educators - An interactive, engaging, animated web site that is built around a original cast of 12 characters that teach students about what to do in bullying situations. www.PACERKidsAgainstBUllying
  3. Students, parents, educators and community - PACER sponsors the Annual National Bullying Prevention Awareness Week with co-sponsors such as National PTA, National Educational Association and Yahoo! Kids. Free resources are available (and can be accessed throughout the year) including lesson plans, a complete classroom toolkit, contest, videos, and more! www.pacer.org/bullying
  4. Middle/high school students, parents and eductors - PACER launched a Web site targeted directly at teens. The site features edgy, relevant information and leverages cutting edge technology. Through videos, blogs, forum, texting, and more teens will be inspired to care about bullying prevention and make a difference.www.PACERTeensAgainstBullying

Bullying prevention takes a community
As kids, teens, adults, schools and community organizations engage, promote and care about this topic, hopefully the climate of bullying will begin to change. For more information, please feel free to connect with Julie Hertzog at 952-838-1342 or julie.hertzog@pacer.org.
