 | | Ben Silberglitt, standing, discussing data considerations with a team in New Prague (August 28, 2009). |
Does your data raise more questions than it answers?
Engage your school or district team in more powerful and streamlined use of data for decision making!
Response to Intervention (RtI) -- or any other evidence-based practice, is a vital framework for school improvement and student achievement, and is the norm schools are working toward today. And one of the major building blocks, the core of RtI, is data: using data to make instructional decisions.
Own Your Data seminars will encompass:
- A focus on position descriptions, determining who is responsible for organizing and communicating what data.
- Strategies for being organized with data management within the school and district, determining who does it and when it should be ready for use.
- Strategies for building a data culture in your district and school.
- Hands-on guided data analysis.
Seminar outcomes: Develop a strong data management plan with strategies tailored to each school/district. Begin initial school/district data analysis, with guidance on appropriate interpretation of data.
