ELN Webinars have been developed by education experts from across the
country. These Webinars meet Minnesota Board of School Administrators (BOSA) standards for administrator
professional development.
MESPA members may receive continuing education units (CEUs) from BOSA for completing ELN Webinars. MESPA has worked with BOSA to streamline a
process for members to gain CEU approval.
It is important to keep two things in mind. First, to maintain professional administrative licensure principals must earn 125 units every five years. Second, CEUs are granted to applicants applying for 3 or more hours that meet BOSA standards.
TO OBTAIN CEUs FOR ELN WEBINARS
Print and fill out out the ELN Evaluation after each Webinar. The evaluation includes the title of the Webinar, name of presenter(s) and Webinar length. There are additional evaluation questions, but it is only necessary to have the first page to provide validation of completion.
When you have completed three or more cumulative hours of Webinars, submit the documentation (ELN evaluations) along with a completed “Request for the Approval of a Continuing Education Program” (scroll to PDF below) to Stan Mack, Executive Director, Board of School Administrators. The address is on the CEU approval form. (For example, if each Webinar is 15 minutes long, you must complete at least 12 Webinars to obtain CEUs.)
