December 15, 2011 -- Thank you, volunteers! It’s always so nice to visit with our volunteers who help us in the MESPA office. Today they prepared some mailings for Institute and for sending out the MESPA Legislative priorities in January. We extend a hearty thank you to the following: Dave Abrahamson, retired principal from St. Anthony-New Brighton schools. Kay Douglass, retired principal from Monticello, and former MESPA President. Bill Douglass, retired music educator (and Kay’s husband). Jeanne Eisenbarth, retired principal from White Bear Lake. Ann Kastler, retired principal from Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan.

August 11, 2011 -- It’s been a busy week, and we were so fortunate to have the support of our volunteers. Monday morning started bright and early with the registration of 250 educators and legislators attending the PreK-Grade 3 Alignment Summit. Thank you, Dave Abrahamson (retired from St. Anthony-New Brighton), for assisting us in making the check-in of participants run smoothly. Dave returned yesterday with Kay Douglass (retired from Monticello and former MESPA President), Bill Douglass (retired music educator), and Bob Lundberg (retired from White Bear Lake) to prepare yet another membership mailing to last year’s MESPA members who have not renewed. The MESPA staff appreciates all the time you donate to MESPA, and we just enjoy working with you! Thank you!
