2011 NDP Finalist, Michelle Krell Three members of the Minnesota Elementary School Principals'
Association (MESPA) are finalists for Minnesota 2011 National
Distinguished Principal (NDP):
Joan Franks, principal of Armatage Montessori School in the Minneapolis
Public Schools;
Michelle Krell, principal of Kasson-Mantorville Elementary
School, Kasson-Mantorville Public Schools (ISD #0204); and
Debra
Sauter, principal of Laura MacArthur Elementary School, Duluth Public Schools
(ISD #709).
This marks the 28th year the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) has presented
the prestigious award, which has corporate sponsorship from VALIC.
On
May 6, 2011 the three finalists will be interviewed and the
Selection Committee will determine the 2011 Minnesota National Distinguished
Principal.
